Port Talbot factory joins UK manufacturers producing 'millions of face masks a week'


A Port Talbot factory has begun manufacturing face coverings as part of a UK-wide drive to produce "millions of masks a week."

The Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster Michael Gove confirmed the British Rototherm Group in Margam has been established as one of three initial sites.

It is part of a UK Government drive to increase production of face coverings as they become mandatory in an increased number of settings across the four nations.

People will be required to wear face masks on public transport in Wales from 27 July.
